The roof-framing stage shown here required coordination between the crew, material delivery and crane operation. Planning the lift in advance helps the structural members reach the right location without unnecessary handling on a constrained job site.
PDS Carpentry considers access and equipment requirements as part of the framing plan. On additions, this also means understanding how the new roof will meet the existing building and what needs to be completed before the structure can be closed in.
This image is from the actual Uxbridge project. Other crane work, truss packages and roof tie-ins are evaluated from the approved design and the conditions at that property.
