This Courtice project shows the framing stage of a large home addition. Work of this scale requires the floor, walls and roof to be laid out accurately while the new structure is coordinated with the dimensions and roof geometry of the existing house.
PDS Carpentry approaches additions by reviewing the structure, access, material handling and tie-in points before the work advances. That preparation helps the new framing support the approved design and gives the roofing, window and interior trades a dependable structure to work from.
Every addition has different drawings and site conditions. This project is presented as an example of PDS framing work; the scope and construction method for another property will be based on its own approved plans and engineering.
